- 3 / 5By Scott ArcherWhy do restaurant owners do this? I stopped in around 2 PM. The place only had three tables occupied after the lunch rush. The food was very good as always, a little expensive but very good.
HOWEVER, the waitress could not be bothered to come out of the kitchen and actually do her job. Long wait to have her take my order. She never brought the check to the table -- I had to go to the counter.
The lunch rush is over, it will be a few hours until the dinner crowd starts; a perfect time for the owner/manager to take a few hours off. The problem is they leave no one in change who actually gives a flip. No one there to crack the whip and the employees view customers as an annoyance who are cutting into their relaxation.
Don't owners know that this is what loses customers?June 24, 2016
